My question: was here anything in Brindabella with the name Brindabella on it, like a school, etc.?

Birdsville, Oodnadatta and Tibooburra are three places I have never been. If you can try to be in Birdville for the horse racing. So good luck. The desert is a wonderful place, and it is proably now as it was when I was goign though outback queensland last, surprisingly muddy and green.

I LOVE that song… The person that sings it (whomever it may be at any given time) is certainly talented enough to handle singing all those cities/towns… wow, and happy to see the writer is still around to tell the story.. Lucky you to have met him (writer).
