Just inland from Australia’s most easterly point (Byron Bay), Bangalow comes across as the sort of place to spend a Sunday. It’s an ‘olde’ fashioned sort of place where walking down the high street feels like you’ve taken a step back in time. There are no high rises here just a picturesque town nestled amongst rolling green hills reminiscent of the English Home Counties with the Catholic church of St Kevin overlooking all the towns goings on.
